I have lived in Vermont all my life. I was born at Porter Hospital in Middlebury Vermont.

I grew up in Lincoln, Vermont which only about 20 miles from Middlebury.
I love living here. I love the smell of the spring air, sitting on the porch watching the sun rise on a summer morning, driving down the road with the colorful autumn leaves blowing off the trees, and snuggling on the couch with a cup of hot cocoa on a cold snowy winter day.
Here is my family at some great Vermont tourist stops...
Shelburne Museum
Shelburne, Vermont
(We Visit The Shelburne Museum Every Year)
We also have been to Ben & Jerry in 2008
Another great place is the Vermont Teddy Bear Company.
I worked there for 7 years as a Bear Stitcher and loved it!
I got done shortly after I had my first child, Tristan.
We visited in 2007

My grandparents met at Middlebury College so I've always had a soft spot for your home town. It sounds like a lovely place to live. Happy anniversary to all of us!

I love the photo show of Shelburne Museum, I've always wanted to go, maybe this year. Your kids are cuties, it's nice to be able to raise them in such a wonderful part of the country.
Nice to meet and see all the different New England bloggers, we're all from the same area, I've found lots of new places and things to see.
It's so great to meet other NE Bloggers this week through these posts. Thanks for the great photos
What a fabulous post, Angie! I really enjoyed your pictures and seeing you pass on your love and respect for VT to your children! You should "visit" some of our other NE Bloggers from VT. I forget who, but one of them is a transplant and feels very isolated.
Oh wow! Well I am envious that you live in such a beautiful state. I have always wanted to visit new England and actually live in either Vermont or Connecticut. I guess the Newhart Show is what had me first mesmerized by it with their quaint Bed & Breakfast but I have seen so many beautiful pictures and can just imagine how beautiful it is year round.
Looks pretty idyllic. We made some Vermont Teddy Bear Factory purchases for the holidays (online since these Californians aren't braving the snow...)
