Day 13 - Make A Hand print or Footprint Mold

Let's face it, it's not going to be sunny everyday in the summer, so we need something to do on those rainy days. Why not have your child make a hand print or footprint. First you'll need to make some clay.

What you'll need:

2 Cups Flour
1/2 Cup Salt
3/4 Cups Warm Water

Mix ingredients together in a bowl. If the dough is a little dry add water a little at a time.Make a ball of dough then flatten it to about a one-inch thickness in the shape of a circle.Have your child press their hand or their foot in to the dough to make an imprint.Gently lift off and back at 325 degrees F in the oven until hard, or let it air dry for a few days. After it's dry, your child can have fun painting it!

We did this in daycare a few years back, thanks for reminding me of it. A cute idea and parents so love the imprint.
Take care and keep the ideas coming.
Have a great and blessed day!
